Its K A

The Prequel to perhaps one of the most anticipated albums of the year has arrived. The free download is a project which took Kano just 7 Days to write, record and produce. Although no tune really stands out, the mixtape perhaps shows any critics the Kano hasn't lost it yet.

The mixtape consists mainly of freestyles but even still, it is music worthy to be blasted through any stereo system. I have listened to all of it and I must say although its not Kano's best piece of work he has definitely tried and given his all.

Paul Smith Is The Way To Go

£60

Oh my Days! I just came across some new Paul Smith Stuff and they can only be described as top draw. Definitely appealing to the young generation, this designer has shown why he is renowned as England's Finest.

£100

Here are only two examples of how diverse the Paul Smith Spring range is. The line incorporates indie and urban to give an unmistakable look.

Roll Deep - Good Times Video

*Link on Title*

This tune has sampled a 90's dance classic and has been turned into another product of electro-grime if you can call it that.

I suppose its Roll Deep's way of celebrating their record deal with Virgin Records. A lot of drinking, dancing and wearing the new garm range; Swagger Muffin.

The video itself has pretty much all the members of Roll Deep with verses done by Wiley who turned up to the shoot, Brazen, Breeze and Scratchy. The hook itself it sung by Jodie Connor who has done a lot of work on the underground scene.

Is it cheesy? maybe. Chart? again maybe. What I do know, this tune will challenge the old school Roll Deep's fans loyalty as this is real different tune to perhaps Badman or even The Avenue. What can be said though, Roll Deep are trying to find a new audience to make more money.

Newham Generals ft. Esco - Im A General

Nearly a year after his death, Esco Big Bars is spitting along side the legends that are D double E and Footsie.

The concept of the tune itself is basically The Generals and Esco telling everyone why they are the best. Produced by Skitz Beats and with video cameos from Tempz and Dizzee this tune is a return to the old school of grime if you can call it that. Simple kicks and claps and no sign of experimenting with sounds, this tune is real grimey.

Although his gone, his hook on this song shows why Esco was considered as one of the best spitters in the game and teaming up with the Dirtee Stank mandem has done no harm to his reputation.

Devlin joins Island Records!

Arguably the biggest artist of 2009 with tunes such as London City and Community Outcast and Giant, Devlin has now become the newest member of the Island Records team. With the label, he will release his long-awaited album Bud, Sweat and Beers.

Devlin has been MCing since the age of 16 and has been part of The OT crew and The movement. His work has not gone unnoticed with the reward being this deal.

Devlin was at the heart of a bidding war between 3 different record companies but it seems as though Island have come out on top.

Despite this new chapter in his life, Devlin is still and always will be an Outaker and will continue to make music with his crew and friends like Ghetts and Griminal.

Well Done Sir!

Gucci have launched their own trainer line. Here are some of my personal favourites from their collection.

THese are apparently hand made from the finest material and do not crease unlike your ordinary trainer. I know christmas has gone but treat yourself to these.
